An Imp-Revised History of the World

Ever wondered what happened when Queen Victoria met Genghis Khan? In this totally improvised comedy, the audience choose which chapters of history they want to see rewritten. After two years of full-house performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival the Smoky Monkeys are on tour for the very first time, demonstrating that everything you thought you knew about history is in fact completely wrong. Get ready for inaccurate historical knowledge, and original new Monkey melodies! Tell your grandchildren that you saw history made (up) before your very eyes. ’Funny and enjoyable’ (TheWeeReview.com) ‘exactly what an improv group should be’ (EdFringeReview.com)

Instant Wit

The best in improvised comedy - sketches, songs and general silliness, all of it based around audience suggestions. And if you’re too shy to shout anything out you’ll have the chance to write things down (anonymously!) in the interval. Ever wanted to hear a Country and Western song about a fondue set? Or see a Shakespearean scene set in the Co-op? Well tonight could be your night! Good suggestions get flying packets of custard, the best a bottle of wine. If you like your comedy fast-paced and with a slightly unusual edge, this is definitely for you.
