Free Workshop Schedule
Multifarious music teacher and performer Jessie Thompson brings an array of instruments and musical games and exercises to the Brunel. Jessie will let you play and enjoy making weird and wonderful sounds, and create an hour of fun for those of all musical abilities.
Hula hoops are not just a summer toy ... Come and learn to spin, throw, and flip this exciting and versatile circus prop in a creative and fun workshop with professional hula hooper and circus artist, Darine Flanagan.

Starting with games to get your body and mind warmed up, and leading onto fun ways of balancing, climbing, and flying on each other. No wings required
Age guide: 8+
A workshop for 5-10 year olds looking at how we create stories with our bodies, voices, and faces.
Working with practitioner Olly Webb, Artistic Director of Darkroom Theatre Company, you will learn how to engage all parts of your body to create compelling works of theatre and interesting stories.

Come and get creative with John and his colourful selection of pencils, paints, paper and pastels! (note- items beginning with letters other than p will also be present)
Family play together
In this workshop families will have the opportunity to play together! Different games will be brought that are carefully designed to bring playfulness and creativity. Play opens creativity, because it is perhaps only in playing that you let go of judgement, where you are free to do whatever you want. The longer you play the stronger the creativity will be. A full hour of pure fun and lots of laughter!
Yvette Cummings and Janice Thompson present a concert of English Song drawn from the works of celebrated composers spanning the centuries. This recital features the world premier of 'From the Vale of the White Horse' by Jeff Joseph, a song cycle written especially for Yvette, which was inspired by the writing of famous local poets.
Dance Workshop with Charlotte
Charlotte Johnson, dance teacher and choreographer will be providing a Jazz/Theatre dance based workshop. It will start with a fun warm up and some development exercises and finish with learning a routine from a popular musical! Energetic and Super fun!!!
Musician Matilda Wale will be holding a fun musical workshop for young children and their families. Sing, move, laugh and learn together with games, rhymes and plenty of songs. See you there!
Drama workshop with Pete Hynds
A workshop for all ages, drama games getting to know other people and most importantly having a laugh. Pete is the artistic director of TS Theatre Productions and Arts Educational Schools London graduate.
